Ruchit Shah

EXPERIENCE

Ruchit Shah has served as a member of the Board since February 2026. He has been the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer of Council Oaks Partners, LLC a boutique investment firm that focuses on private equity and special situations investing since 2023. Prior to launching Council Oaks, Mr. Shah was Senior Managing Director for M-Cor Capital, the Milken Investment Company from 2021 to 2023. From 2014 to 2021, Mr. Shah worked for Texas Treasury Safekeeping Trust Company, where he became the Chief Investment Officer and managed approximately $90 billion across multiple pools of capital. Mr. Shah began his career in the financial crisis as a Litigator with Baker Botts LLP.

EDUCATION

Mr. Shah holds a JD, with Honors from the University of Texas School of Law and a BA from the University of Texas at Austin.
